Hello Hello Hello... Captain Sean "The Wheeler" Doe here,

Well where do I start? The Horrorpops/Rev tour was awesome good fun. Some of the highlights: Franco got a sweet unicorn tattoo on his ankle in Seattle, Chango and I saw Slayer in Spokane, saw an eagle in Colorado, had fun in general with "Timmy the Turtle" (thanx for the fluffy comforter upgrades), Bend, Oregon ruled etc… We're gonna' be heading out again in October with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and Eagles of Death Metal for a couple of weeks so come out early as we are first of 3, King Taco and wife just had a beautiful baby girl of which I am the godfather, and our beloved Jacko is doing well "tattoos and motorbikes". I'm gonna’ be on tour with my other band, Charley Horse, starting today "cant wait to get to El Chucko”, so come out if ya’ like.

Big love from Dino, Franco, Chango and myself...

Magic Happens,

Sean "Sun Trash" Wheeler

Hey to whoever reads this, it's been a while,

We got home from Europe in December and a couple of the boys decided on a vacation from touring (not permanent) to spend more time with their friends and family, so Throw Rag
has been laying low. We've got some shows coming up just not as many as your use to. All is well and as they say no rest for the wicked so I put another band together called "Charley Horse" to fill in my calendar. There's a Charley Horse MySpace page and a few upcoming shows as well so check it out.

Also, I've been recording an album with friends from all over under the name "Sun Trash". It's got JDevil and Dave Catching from Eagles of Death Metal, Jho, Joey and Troy from QOTSA, Mike Martt from Tex and the Horseheads, Sasha from the Mad Caddies, Chriss Goss from Masters of Reality, and Nicole from Retro Cutie and I've been talking to Joe Buck from Hank III, Vic from the Slackers and Zander Schloss from the Circle Jerks. Should be out at the end of the year, I think I'm gonna call it "Microwave Cookbook". Chango, Dino and Franco are well and enjoying their free time. Maybe they'll post something for y'all and fill ya' in. I talked to Jacko recently and he's loving the life he's living and living the life he loves.

See ya' soon I hope,

Capt. Sean Doe
"Sun Trash" O.D.C.

P.S. We've got the video for "She Don't Want To" up on a MySpace blog, so check that out too.

P.S.S. King Taco Pearl is well, he and his wife are expecting a baby girl in June and I am the godfather... too cool!

December 14th, 2005

Say hey hey Capt. Sean Doe here writing you all, ya'll, from Austria home of my silly governor, Arnie.

All is bad ass as always in Europe and we've been having a great time with the boys in The Scotch Greens and Gogol Bordello, watching such movies as "How to Be A Pimp", it is more of a documentary I got for free with a spank rag in the Netherlands and its narrated by Ice T, a little more bubblegum water falls than we prefer to see in our a e (adult entertainment) but hey, it came with the magazine. Our day off in Paris was niiiccceeee, Chango and I went to some museums, churches and this really big tower... the name of it escapes me right now, I do know that Rusty went there with the Griswold's.

I am sorry about the Frankfurt show, turns out it was a gypsy thing so the white trash bands were forced to stay behind and party in Prague. Poor us, well we will be home in a week and as far as Frankfurt goes we will probably make this up in April, it looks like were coming back to Europe for that month with The Reverend Horton Heat, this tour will include Scandinavia proper so Oslo look out! Until later...

Your Friend,

Capt. Sean "Big Magic Sun Trash" Doe of the other desert cities...

Hey there good people of planet earth it's me, one of many, Captain Sean Doe with an update:

First off, thanx to every one who came out to the shows on this last run we had a great time and appreciate the kind words as King Taco would say. We have been so busy this year back and forth across the United States 7 or 8 times? Now we're back in So. Cal for 2 weeks then its off to Europe to finish off the year (about 200 shows) and like you've heard me say before "Throw Rag can't stop, won't stop".

Tour highlights if I can remember are as follows in no particular order... brain fart! Lots of good times, special thanx to Gogol Bordello, The Scotch Greens, the Denver Crew, the Asbury Park Crew, the folks who drove from Boston and Pittsburg. to see us in Brooklyn, seeing the Briefs rule in San Francisco, going to see Q.O.T.S.A. before our show in Detroit Rock City and them coming out to our show afterwards... "we love Detroit". Tucson, hanging with Uncle Bert in Austin, Alabama was cool, Halloween night in Atlanta at the Drunken Unicorn. You may or may not know this but I love unicorns, and spending the next evening at the Clairemont Lounge with Gogol and The Scotch Greens and having a serious karaoke session of which Jett from Atlanta was by far superior, Balto and the rock n' roll pies, seeing Widowmaker in Kansas, hanging with Chief in Seattle and Portland, Katy in Minneapolis, Morat in Hollywood, my new pal Elijah, and our loved ones, having Valiant Thorr, Missa Mary and Sailor Girl on stage in the O.C., etc., etc. I should really take notes as we go so I don't leave out important highlights but? Oh well, hopefully this update will include our tour picture of all the bands we took on the last night, I'll try and be more regular and no, I'm not referring to dropping the kids off at the pond.

Until next time, love and respect,

Captain Sean Doe... T.C.B O.D.C!

P.S. Thank you Creamy Pirate, Danzig, Deborah, Villam and Doyle rocked Chicago and a big thank you to Bryan M. of The Riverboat Gamblers for all his help as of late.

A message from Jacko: I'm sorry to tell you that I will not be touring with the band anymore.  I love Throw Rag and I loved touring but I've reached a point in my life where I would like to focus on starting a family and spend more time in my tattoo shop and building motorcycles.  I love you all and will miss each and every one of you.

Hello again and it's been too long...so much is going on at Throw Rag Head Quarters its hard to keep up, first off the shocker, Action Craig Jackman has decided not to be in the band anymore. This "is what it is" as they say, who are "they" anyways? There are no hard feelings, there was no blow out, none of the obvious "I'm quitting" stuff. Jacko wants to be a home body, start a family etc... so that requires being at home and as you all know Throw Rag doesn't spend much time at home. We love and will miss Jacko and still talk to him all the time "hey dude what's that place you we're telling me does the cheap acupuncture?" stuff like that. Anywho forward, we're starting a tour with Gogol Bordello and the scotch greens in one week, So come out and have fun cause that is what this is about, thank everyone who came out this summer the fantastic 4 etc...We had a great time on Warped Tour with our friends Gogol Bordello, Valiant Thorr, The Riverboat Gamblers, Lost City Angels, and I must admit I enjoyed Reggie and the Full Effect. Thanx Maurice, Kevin, and the whole crew. It was also nice getting back to Florida, I enjoy cigars and your city has cigar roots (if ya' wanna' buy me one I like Dominicans in a Churchill size}, We are also gonna' be taking this tour to Europe so keep your eyes open over there, think of it as an early Christmas present. Another highlight of the summer was the "super show" in OKC,  the Briefs, the Street Dogs, The Riverboat Gamblers and Throw Rag all on one show... lets hope we can make this a tour in 2006. As some of you know we got stuck in Mississippi for a second due to Katrina, thanx to Kevin James for driving us to find gas thru the woods and around the trees, Our hearts go out to those who have lost so much behind this. Well as we've been saying in Throw Rag for 11 years now "can't stop, won't stop" see you when I see you.

Forever yours,

Capt. Sean "The Wheeler" Doe   T.C.B O.D.C!

Ahoy!

We've been on the road with Flogging Molly and Gogol Bordello for the past week with more to go, we'll be hitting the east coast down to Florida on our way to see you all in Texas and wrap this whole shindig up. Make sure to check out the updated tour dates on the Tour Dates page.

Now for a special report from the scene:

Hey you probably don't remember me but when you were in Minneapolis on the Warped Tour and you brought that chick on stage to play washboard, that was me. I'm Brianna. Yeah I wanted to say thanks because that was really cool. Actually I was really freaked out because all of you guys are creepy looking but that's cool. And then that one guy. The normal washboard guy. He start taking off his pants and I'm scared he's going to piss on me or whip me with his dick. And I'm just thinking, "Fuck. I'm only 14!" Luckily nothing happened there. You know, it's kind of funny because my parents were at Warped with me and they had been watching you guys play but they left to meet up with my friend and me. They were like, "Hey we were just watching some band on the Volcom stage and they're really weird. The one guy has a washboard he wears around his neck and plays with spoons. There's something not right about them." So of course my response is, "Sweet! Let's go!" And the last word of advice my parents give me before we set off is, "Don't get too close to the stage!" Well I let them down on that one. My dad was insanely jealous and very impressed at the whole endeavor. My mom however wasn't. She was upset that I "directly disobeyed her" or some shit like that. And then she told me that the whole band was probably just looking down my shirt the whole time because I was dressed like a skank. I'm hoping her suspicions are not correct. So anyway I wanted to just say thanks and I'm wondering if you'll be coming back to Minneapolis sometime soon? I'd really like to see you guys play again. And I'm buying everything of yours that I can get my hands on. You kick ass. I know its very cliché but I can't think of a more appropriate term. Oh and I have the pictures of me. I'll put them in here in case you're interested in seeing them.
                                                             Thanks again
                                                             Brianna

At ease, cabin boyz and girlz, for the day is upon us!

After 25 months of relentless touring , we took a 3 week shore leave and created the truly magical "13 ft. and rising" with our favorite sea monkey Cameron Webb. We called in the wizards and who did appear? None other than Lemmy Kilmister, Jello Biafra and Keith Morris... Exene's spell was not cast but we thank her for the potion and our hearts are always near.

There has also been a video made for the song "She Don't Want To" by our new friend Morgan and our hats are off to him and BYO records for making this "magic happen" in about 4 days... now that's a "can do" attitude!

Also some wet doggie kisses to Alex for letting us use his bar in beautiful Long Beach, California and all the extras, lil' Magic, Missa Mary etc... for a wonderful day of rock n roll...

As I write this another U.S. tour is about to get underway. 2 months of fun in the sun cause some like it hot! So check the Tour Dates page cause we got some killer shows with the likes of the Street Dogs, Flogging Molly, Gogol Bordello, even a little Midwest Warped Tour action cause we're silly like that, and if ya' got time to kill our MySpace page is the place to be, I've noticed a fair amount of swingers on it so try your luck, tell 'em the Captain sent ya'.

We've also got a new merch store Machete, so far just t-shirts put we're gonna' get em' all stocked up with goodies. In the mean time you should seriously consider picking up a "Man Love" shirt from them, very Kung Fu Hustle! Or maybe the "Magic Happens" shirt... this unicorn has wings!

Europe do not fear, we shall cross the pond in November for our first headlining tour of the EU and such. Until then you can get our new album over there on Kung Fu records, the same good people who, if you didn't know, put out our award winning DVD this year "Throw Rag live at the House of Blues".

Kudos to Fondue Pirate, BYO Records, Kung Fu Records, Villam Artists and Deborah and a good job boys to us for making 2005 so awesome! Check back regularly cause were gonna' be bringing you news weekly from Middle Earth.

Until next time from the desert to the sea yours truly Capt. Sean Doe "The Wheeler" ...... now go get that album "13 ft. and rising" BYO records and know ya' done good!
